Video Premiere: RNDM Ft. Joseph Arthur & Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament Debuts ‘Ghost Riding’

RNDM – featuring Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament, singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur and drummer Richard Stuverud (The Fastbacks, War Babies) – have been making music as a trio since 2012, having met in 1999 and reconnected in 2010 with a decided click. Their debut set, Acts, was released in ‘12, to be followed next year by sophomore set Ghost Riding.  VIDEO >>

“The song really comes from a childhood memory of me and my friends taking bikes and riding them at ever greater speeds and jumping off into a yard (hopefully) and seeing how far the bike would ‘ghost’ ride on it’s own and then the gnarly but sometimes beautiful way they would crash,” says Arthur. “It seemed in a way a metaphor for life and innocence lost. But ultimately it’s a song that celebrates the wonder of life through a child’s eyes.”
